COVID-19 Interview with Dr. Patrick Troy

It’s been more than one year since a global pandemic first gripped the world and our healthcare systems. In the absence of data about COVID-19, the medical community was initially forced to rely on existing knowledge of ARDS, or acute respiratory distress syndrome, to guide patient care of the new virus. During COVID-19’s second wave, clinicians began to identify different stages of the disease, particularly one that mimics sepsis, and ways to treat it. To learn more, we interviewed Dr. Patrick J. Troy, who has been treating COVID-19 patients since the beginning of the pandemic.
